The Grant Screening Committee has narrowed the applicant pool for 2015 again. Six remaining agencies will host NWP members this month at site interviews and finalists will be determined in early April.

Grants in Action:

2009 NWP Grant Recipient, Legal Aid will host NWP members at Family Court (March 12, 1pm) to learn more about the Foster Care Early Intervention Program's enduring effect.

Communities in Schools, the 2014 grant recipient, will mark the launch of their CIS Academy technology project with NWP members at Cimarron Memorial High School (March 24, 3-4:30pm).

NWP Members are invited to tour the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth's newly expanded Drop In Center on Shirley St (April 16, 11am).

Building A Powerful Association Of Community Investors

Nevada Women's Philanthropy (NWP) is a member driven, pooled fund, large impact grant making organization established to address the needs of the greater Las Vegas community. Our membership consists of philanthropically motivated women, united by a powerful desire to address emerging issues facing our community in the areas of arts, education, environment, social services, and health.

NWP has granted $3.26 million to Las Vegas-area nonprofits since it was created in 2005. It averages about 80 members per year. It is an all-volunteer organization.
